In our floatation pod, YOU, are completely safe and in control of your environment. Our pod, is a safe, well-ventilated space that’s easy to exit. The feeling is more like being in comfortable bed in a quiet room, except you are weightless.
-
Yes, you float within your own private room (so there is no requirement to wear a bathing suit or swim trunks). Each of our rooms has its own shower and is for your exclusive use for the duration of your session.
-
No. Because the water contains high salt levels it doesn’t rob your skin of salt, (which is what causes wrinkling). Rather, it leaves you skin soft and silky.
-
The pod lid not only pushes open easily from the inside, it does not seal tightly, And, there’s no latch that could lock.
-
We adhere to the most stringent health and safety regulations. The water contains mostly salt so the solution is sterile. We add a limited amount of chemicals of the same kind you would find in a swimming pool to ensure the room is safe and clean. To add to that, we filter the water thoroughly between each float session.
-
Just an open mind and a tired body! We provide everything else…towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a hairdryer. However, you may want to bring a brush or comb for after you get out.
-
Of course! Floating has been proven to relieve much of the stress and discomfort of pregnancy and can offer you and your baby deep relaxation.
-
Though many notice results after their first float, some will notice improvements after their second or third float. This gives the body enough time to adjust to the new environment.
-
You should not float if you:
Have not been shown how to use the float pod by a qualified person; have open or bleeding wounds; suffer from incontinence or uncontrolled epilepsy; have been medically advised not to float; have a special or lacquered hairdo which you wish to keep; are not confidant of being able to get out due to lack of personal mobility (if unsure, please request help getting in and out of the float pod ).
-
Yes, just follow the same protocol as you would going swimming or in a hot tub.
-
No, the epsom salts would keep you afloat and if you were to turn over then the salt water would wake you up right away.
